Installing solid wood and engineered wood flooring is a specialist job and not for amatures. Just because someone can install laminate flooring this does not mean that they possess the skill and knowledge to correctly fit a real wood floor. Due to this all our wood floor fitters have a minimum of 5 years experience within the trade and have come across every eventuality before.

How to correctly install real wood flooring can vary depending on the type of flooring, the subfloor and even the room that it is being fitted in. Because there are many factors that influence how to correctly fit a real wood floor it is impossible to give an exact quote for our installation service however as a rule of thumb we would normally charge £15 per sqm for our fitting service.
